This Year's Veterans Day Program

The Veterans Day Program held by the Keystone Club is always looked forward to at the Boys & Girls Club. We are not able to hold the traditional program this year, but thanks to our partnership with the Veterans Association, Cabarrus County and the City of Concord, we will still be able to recognize our veterans. The County is videotaping a special Veterans Day Program to premier on their station Veterans Day, November 11th at 11:00am.

Following the premier of the program, we will host a drive through event at the Boys & Girls Club to celebrate our veterans. From 12:00 to 2:00pm veterans are invited to drive through the BGC parking lot while members of the community are lined up with signs to show our veterans how much we appreciate them.

Your Participation as a Keystone Member

We would love to have as many Keystone members as possible participate in the drive-thru event honoring our veterans. Here are your options to sign up.

  • We will host a sign painting at the BGC for Keystone Members in the gyms on Tuesday, November 3rd from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Wear your masks. We will keep you socially distanced and provide all the materials.
  • On November 11th arrive at the Club at 11:30am to show you support for our Veterans as they drive through the parking lot from 12 to 2pm. Again, wear your mask and prepare to stay socially distanced.

It is important that we know who plans to attend so please reply to this email at If you have any questions, please call Valerie Melton at 704-721-2582 ext. 108.

Thanks so much! We look forward to seeing you.
