Staying true to our mission, the Boys & Girls Club is working hard to provide support to our children and families as we transition into the 2020 school year under Cabarrus County School’s Plan C with full remote learning for all students.  While we wish we could fully open our program, current guidelines and restrictions do not make this an option.

We plan to offer a modified School Year Program and will only be enrolling a limited number of children as the school year begins.  Only youth enrolled in our current Virtual Summer Program or who were 21st Century Students during the previous school year will be eligible to register.  The only new members that will be added are siblings of members who are eligible to enroll.  All eligible youth will be contacted directly with instructions for registration.

It is our hope to be able to expand registration to include all children who were in our Afterschool Program during the last school year.  We plan to have an announcement by the week of August 24th.  These students would then be able to register and begin attending The Club’s program on September 8th.  We know these are challenging times for our families and we are doing all we can to provide the support you need.  Please visit our Website and Facebook page for updated information.  Thank you.

At this time, our Club will continue to serve meals to all youth ages 2-18 while schools are closed due to COVID 19.  These meals are available Monday-Friday from 5:00pm-6:00pm.  Please review the details below to receive these meals.

  • Meals will be distributed in a drive-thru manner.
  • Parents will be allowed to pick up meals for children without their children being present.
  • Meals include dinner, comparable to what the children receive at the Club each day for lunch, as well as a shelf stable breakfast for the next day.  On Fridays, we will send home dinner for that night as well as a shelf stable breakfast and dinner for Saturday and Sunday.

We want to make sure we are doing all we can for our members and their families during the current circumstances. We will continue to look for ways we can help. Please continue to be safe and visit the Cabarrus Health Alliance website at for trusted information on the Coronavirus.
